Naughty Knights builds on the fundamentals developed in Picky Pawns and helps students become confident, independent chess players. Students develop tactical awareness, coordinated piece play, defensive and counter-attacking skills, chess notation, clock management, and stronger analytical thinking. The program also introduces common opening ideas, tactical patterns, tournament-style play, and practical classroom activities designed to improve calculation, board awareness, decision-making, and sportsmanship. Students are encouraged to participate in beginner-level tournaments to gain competitive experience.
