Block-Based Programming (C300)

Games are excellent educational programming tool. Students are taught basic programming concepts like loops, conditions, functions and variables.

Game Design (C500)

Students delve deeper into game design by developing classic games such as Brick Breaker, Angry Birds and more. They’ll employ block-based, graphical coding and gain a strong foundation, in preparation for text-based coding languages.

App Development (C550)

Students will learn to design and build apps by applying design principles, app layout, styling and interaction design. They will learn to program apps that could have a global impact. Our curriculum uses an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows students to build simple apps for smartphones and tablets.

Web Development (C600/C700)

Students are introduced to text-based programming through HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. They’ll build web pages and applications with animated and interactive elements from scratch instead of using drag and drop templates, enabling them to make vital connections between text-based code and visualizing the results.

Coding with Python (C800)

Students learn a powerful server-based programming language. They are taught to write Python programs, which can be used to solve variety of challenges, including in Robotics. Python is a powerful programming language used for variety of purpose from Data Analytics, Data Science to programming robots and providing artificial intelligence.

Robotics

Robotics encompasses the design, construction, operation and use of robots, as well as, computer systems for their control, sensory feedback and information processing. Our courses cover all aspects of robotics: from theory, to building out designs, to programming and controlling robots.

Virtual Robotics (R400V)

Virtual Robotics teaches students how to program robots to complete challenges in a fun interactive way. Students use the simulation engine to mimic physics and use block or text-based programming languages. The programming skills are easily transferrable to in-person real world robot at a later stage.

Machines and Mechanisms (R200)

Students build, design, and investigate simple and compound machines such as levers, pulleys, and axles. In later levels, they learn about mechanisms and structures. At the final level, students are introduced to basic programming concepts using graphical, block-based interfaces.

Moving Models (R300)

Students design, build, and program stationary and moving robotic models. They learn STEM concepts, including speed, structural stability and metamorphosis to create and program interactive models that use motors, sensors and block-based programming interfaces.

Robot Design and Navigation (R400)

Students learn design and programming concepts using LEGO EV3 Mindstorms robots. They build robots and mechanical attachments from scratch and program controls though block-based programming. After this course, students may be eligible to join our competition teams.

Enhanced Robotic Functions (R500)

Robot Design & Navigation is a prerequisite for this complex, competition-oriented class. This course teaches advanced mechanical and robotics programming constructs like directional transformation, proportional error correction, and storing and retrieving data.

Text-Based Robotics (R600)

Students will work with Python, a text-based programming language. They will become familiar with powerful and efficient commands to write complex and concise programs with which they can control their robots.

Summer Camps

We offer virtual summer camps from July 5th to September 3rd. Students from grades 2 to 12 will explore the basics of robotics and coding in an interactive and engaging setting. A perfect combination of learning and fun while making new friends!

Our weekly virtual camps run for 2 hours each day. Join us either in the morning from 10am to 12pm or in the afternoon from 1pm to 3pm.

Creative Coding with Scratch (7+ yrs)

Students are introduced to basic programming concepts like sprites, loops, events and more through the creation of animated stories and starter games.

This camp extends over two weeks. Students can attend one or both weeks.

Scratch Game Masters (9+ yrs)

Students will apply their programming skills to create customized versions of different games. The focus is on the ability to receive a set of game design guidelines and produce the game in their own creative ways.

Minecraft Adventures (8+ yrs)

Using Minecraft, you can plan, design and build fun games like Mega Jump, Night Vision, Sandstorms, Lava Tower, Leaping Fish and more. These games are built into themed camp weeks such as Superheroes, Aquatic World, Natural Disasters, etc. Through these games, students will learn programming concepts such as variables, conditional and control statements and more in a fun, engaging way. (Minecraft license has to be purchased prior to the start of the camp.)

Roblox, a popular game creation platform, is used as a tool to teach students programming concepts such as variables, methods, conditional statements, control statements etc., as students work towards creating their own game in a hands-on way of learning.
